While difficult to describe; one thing for sure the taste is nothing short of amazing.

Ramps grow wild in higher elevations in the North American Appalachian mountains. They are somewhat hard to describe if you are unfamiliar with them. They are sometimes referred to as wild garlic. But that does not do them justice. There is a strong garlic taste, but a taste of onion also.
