Parmesan Crisps

Share the research:

Master the basic technique of making Parmesan Crisps and you will find it has many uses. They can be served as an appetizer or to accompany many dishes that might need an accent, like my French Carrot Soup.

Notes on Techniques

This recipe is pretty straightforward — one and only one ingredient. Surprisingly though, there is some room for creativity based on intended uses. As demonstrated in the photos below, the Parmesan can be mounded, creating more of a solid wafer with a honeycomb look as the cheese bubbles. Or it can be spread out giving a freeform look.

Experiment with different approaches to give your dish the accent you like.
